    Port City Rescue Missions collaborates with various other agencies to provide recovery programs such as case management, substance abuse education, anger/stress management, personal/social adjustment counseling, and group counseling.

  • Important Documents

    Resident clients of Port City Rescue Missions receive assistance in completing critical applications and associated documents that help them to obtain state ID cards/driver's licenses, Social Security cards, birth certificates, and any other documents required for them to apply for benefits and public assistance for which they may be eligible.

  • Benefits

    Port City Rescue Missions aids resident clients in obtaining SSI / SSDI, food stamps, Medicare / Medicaid, retirement, and any other benefits for which they may be eligible.

  • Continuing Education

  • HANDS-ON JOB TRAINING

    Resident clients of Port City Rescue Missions receive hands-on job training in various areas, such as basic computer skills, data entry, cooking, dishwashing, facility maintenance, office clerk/secretarial skills, accounting, social services, materials procurement, and lawn/gardening upkeep to name a few.

  • TRANSPORTATION

    Port City Rescue Missions provides transportation for resident clients to the doctor, dental, and other appointments, such as benefit and assistance application appointments. In addition, the shelter offers rides to and from planned group educational and recreational activities.
